Rain, Rain and more Rain!

8 Mar

It’s been raining a lot lately…I mean A LOT!

And this is what the sky has looked like most days:

It was starting to get me down, then I saw these on Pinterest:

They made me realise that I need to change the way I view rain.

So here are a few recent rain moments that made me smile:

The raindrops on this tree reminded me hundreds of tiny Swarovski Crystals. They looked so pretty!

Children playing in the rain…always a happy sight.

We even did a little rain-related craft.

When it rains, the creek near our house fills up and sounds beautiful as it flows by.

And of course what is a rain post without the rainbow photo?

So, your Homeschool has set up shop again, which means you did a great job last year. Well done to all three of you! We wish you a wonderful academic year with lots of fun, exciting things to learn!
WE LOVE your post on rain! We find it really relevant as we’ve had very rainy weather this year, which is rather unusual for Greece. We now understand British people, who talk weather as soon as they meet and carry along an umbrella everywhere :) Would it be ok if we shared your post on our blog?
Thanks for the comment on our blog too! YES, it was great fun to be in the audience of “Greece you’ve got talent” show! Hope we’ll make it to the finals, as well!

    Hi there,
We love Dr Seuss’ stories and would love to have them at school.
Do you think you can find a collection of his work for me to buy when we come down under this year?
    Thanks!
